ROSE YOUNG LUM TAM-HOY
Age 88, passed away peacefully @ Queen's Medical Center on Oct 13, 2011. Rose was born in Honolulu on Feb 18, 1923. "Aunty Lok`e" kept very active being involved w/over 15 organizations including several Hawaiian Civic Clubs (notably Hale O Na Ali'i, Ahahui Kaahumanu, Daughters of HI, Royal Order of Kamehameha, Alu Like), Chinese Womens Club, Tom Society, & Oahu League of Republican Women. Rose is survived by her sister Florence Lum (Gilbert) Minn, sons Harold (Arlene) Tam-Hoy, Barry (Joani) Tam-Hoy of WA, daughters, Agnes Makalii & Bonnie Tam-Hoy, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Visitation: 9:00 am Sat Nov 5 @ the Cathedral of St Andrews with services to follow @ 10:30am. Burial: 2:15 pm Diamond Head Memorial Park.
