He is survived by wife Jeanette; sons Francis Lopez III and Aaron Rivera; daughters Jarene Medeiros, Jocelyn Rivera and Cassie Stewart; brothers Bobby Barfield and Harold, Norman Sr. and Wallace Santiago; and sisters Caroline Nelson, Kathleen Culberth and Meryion Santiago.
