MARIA ROEHRIG CHERNIN
Maria Roehrig Chernin , 74, of Inverness, California died November 7, 2011, at her residence , after a long illness. She was born November 16, 1937 and grew up in Honolulu. She attended Punahou School where she was a cheer leader. She spent many years in the visitor industry with Island Holidays.
Friends may call at 10: A.M. on November 19th, 2011 at the Oahu Country Club in Honolulu for a celebration of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Elliott Chernin, her sisters, Roberta (Jim) Kennedy of Portland and, Jill (John) Olson of Kona; brothers, Stanley (Jan) Roehrig of Hilo and Kit (Wendi) Roehrig of Kamuela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
