David Yuen Sui Kong Sr., 80, of Kihei, Maui, died at home. He is survived by wife Winona; sons David Jr. and Ransom; daughters Coleen Church, Valerie and Cherlyn J. Kong, Mona Cockett and Elena Jones; brothers Viv­ian, Joseph and George; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild expected in January. Rosary: 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa Church, Kihei. Visitation: 10 a.m. Mass: 11 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the church hall. Flower lei welcome. Private scattering of ashes.
