ALBERT BARROS SILVA, SR. AKA “QUICK SILVA”

Age 94, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away October 28, 2011 in Honolulu. Born April 27, 1917 in Waipahu, Hawaii. Waipahu Boxing Club coach. Retired supervisor for Oahu Sugar Company. Sports Hall of
Fame Inductee in 2009.

He is survived by daughters, Bernie Matsumura, Alberta (Kimo) Kamaunu; brother, Gabriel Silva; sisters, Irene (Art) Moreno, Margie Cryar; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children.

Visitation 5:00 p.m. Friday (November 18) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Burial 10:00 a.m. Saturday (November 19) at Mililani Memorial Park.
