Leighton Fredrick Anderson, 80, of Kaneohe, a retired Honolulu Police Department lieutenant and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Hono-lulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lila M.; sons Leith K. and Lance K.; daughters Lynne K.A. Beresford, Lei M. Higgins and Lesley M. Anderson; brothers Leslie K. and Duane I.; sister Sandra K. Anderson-Keleher; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Windward Church of the Nazarene, 45-232 Puaae Road, Kaneohe.
