William Isaac Alvey, 85, of Honolulu, a retired printer at The Honolulu Advertiser and an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Payna, Ill. He is survived by son Tracy I., daughter Tami L. Lum and two grandchildren. Private services.
