78Gerald F.Y. Ching Sr., 76, of Dayton, Nev., a retiree, died in Carson City, Nev. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Gerald F.Y. Jr.; daughters Juanita Ching and Crystal Moniz; brother Kurt; sisters Shirley Kinney, Sylvia Rocha and Velma Chung; and two grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
