Abraham Hamm Young, 85, of Aiea, a retired Hawaiian Telephone planning engineer and Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Hanapepe, Kauai. He is survived by daughters Lynette Fonseca-Young, Luana Dean and Malia Young; brother Joseph; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waikalua Chapel, in Kaneohe. Services: 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
