Richard John "Rick" Esselbach Jr., 70, of Makaha, a retired United Airlines airplane mechanic and a Navy veteran, died in Makaha. He was born in Anaheim, Calif. He is survived by son Richard III; daughters Dawn Urrea, Gale Linhares and Cassandra Estrada; brother Brian; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Private services.
