77Sadako "Dhaki" Tavares, 91, of Makawao, Maui, and Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired quality control inspector at Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory in Keaau, Hawaii, died at home. She was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Gilbert, Jarrett and Robin; daughters Nancy Capellas, Roni T. Lemmo, and Carrie and Elaine Tavares; brother Harry Sudo; sisters Lenny Galik, Florence Ah Sing and Gertrude Wagner; former caregiver Andrea Saito; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Hilo Funeral Home. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park, Hilo.
