Harriet Kay Giltner Kaawa, 65, of Waianae, a Nanakuli Food Bank distributor, died in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Sampson K., James K., Malcolm K. and Bronson H. Kaawa, Milton Rabanes and Nathan K. Kipi; daughters Bernadine K. McShane, Belinda A. Palakiko, Sherl-Deen N. Silva and Shaynee Giltner-Baptista; brothers Thomas, Dennis, Gill and Howard Giltner, Williama, Sam, Romey, Gordan and James Au Hoon, Spencer Cabato and Louis Mooke; sisters Barbara Kaawa, Joyce Meafou, Ima Biscaino and Karen Oury; 33 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Nanaikapono Protestant Church. Scattering of ashes: 9 a.m. Saturday at Zubland Beach, Nanakuli. Luncheon at noon at 89-270 Mano Ave. (3rd Road), Waianae. Casual attire.
