He is survived by wife Clara, son Russell, daughter Raynette Horn, mother Henrietta, brothers Raymond and Alton, and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mildred Kyoko Enga Nicely, 82, of Honolulu, died on November 20, 2011 at home. She was born in Aiea and was a retired Sheraton Waikiki laundry supervisor. She is survived by sons, Terrence R. Nicely, Rodney D. (Patricia) Nicely, Arthur H. Nicely; daughter, Marla K. Nicely; sister, Patricia I. Torres; five grandchildren; a great grandchild. LAWRENCE “LARRY” KWAI HONG LUM

Lawrence “Larry” Kwai Hong Lum passed away peacefully on December 3, 2011 at Kaiser Permanente with his family at his side. Larry was born on July 30, 1952, to Theodore Dai Yen Lum and Dora Lai Poong Dung Lum. Larry grew up in Palama working in the family store, Samuel Lum Grocery. Like his brothers, Larry attended St. Theresa’s School and St. Louis High School. Larry joined the Hawaii Air National Guard at 17 years of age and retired after more than 20 years of service. He graduated from Honolulu Community College with multiple degrees and worked as a pipefitter at the Pearl Harbor Shipyard. Larry also had a “fun” job working part-time at Aloha Air Cargo. Larry loved to travel and travelled all over the world. After a successful kidney transplant in July, Larry was enjoying his retirement and looking forward to a cross-country trip. Larry was predeceased by his parents and brother, Michael Kwai On Lum. Larry is survived by his eldest brother, Joseph “Timmy” Kwai Tim Lum, niece, Melia M. Gum Fung Lum, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his extended family of friends. Visitation: December 12, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life and mass over the ashes on December 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Theresa’s Co-Cathedral followed by burial at 3:00 p.m. at Hawaii Memorial Park Cemetary.

89, of Honolulu passed away on November 30, 2011 at Hospice Palolo House. Graduated Farrington High School class of 1940, retired Bank of Hawaii Escrow dept., she was an avid Las Vegas enthusiast, professional gambler and world traveller. Born the fourth of seven children July 7, 1922 to Mary A Ching Hoe and Solomon Sing Hung Hoe. Survived by sisters Evaline Wong (Edgar) of San Bernadino, Calif., Elizabeth Moy (Richard) of Washington, D.C.; daughter Joella Nakamura; grand-children Berin Nakamura, Bambi Nakamura, Boyd Nakamura, Brandt Nakamura ;great grandchildren Kristy Ann Oclinaria, Bodie Nakamura, Max Nakamura; nieces, nephews. Per her request, there will be a 2p.m. graveside service Tues. December 13 at Veterans’ Cemetery Kaneohe, followed by lunch at Pah Ke restaurant Kaneohe.
