Age 80, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away November 14, 2011 in Kapolei. Born December 14, 1930 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Alvin retired from the U. S. Army and U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and Purple Heart.
He is survived by wife, Lavaina Ku; sons, George (Rae) Ku, Alvin "Keola" (Darlene) Ku; sisters, Bertha Lucero, Nani Hai of Maui; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
