83Joan M. Deguchi, 70, of Lihue, a Lihue Bowling Alley supervisor, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Todd and Robbie; daughters Cherie Miyashiro, Michelle Deguchi and Renee M. Kua; mother Sumano Kunihiro; brothers Kazu and James Kunihiro; sisters Alice Higa and Amy Furukawa; and four grandchildren. Celebration of life at noon Jan. 22 at Lihue Neighborhood Center. No flowers.
