Dennis H. Putnam, 71, of Waianae, a Navy veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa. He is survived by wife Hisako, mother Winnifred H. Crosley and sisters Pamela J. Kauffman, Dixie Harrington, Tamma Gaynor and Polly Granzow. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Manoa Valley Church, 2728 Huapala St. Committal services: 1 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Celebration of life to follow at the Fleet Reserve Association. No flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to March of Dimes or American Cancer Society.
