77Ben Buenaventura Tangalin, 87, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired landscape architect, died in Garden Isle Health Care. He was born in Kapaa. He is survived by sons Fred, Leonard and Leroy; daughters Gloria Reed, Yolanda Kurihara and Nena Johnson; brother Johnny; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Jan. 7 at Small Town Coffee in Kapaa in the Kauai Products Fair.
