77Charles Moniz "Charlie" Cobile, 79, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Wastewater Division mechanic, died at home. He was born in Maasin, Southern Leyte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Elena O.; sons Eric, Douglas, Chuck and Raymond; daughters Florencia Abordo and Janet Tandayag; brother Edwin; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery, Section K. Casual attire.
