Walter Sur, 81, of Honolulu, a retired Army colonel who served in the Korean War and a retired government marketing specialist for Hawaiian Tel, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mary; son Stacy; brothers Joseph and David; sisters Elsie Kim, Winifred Weaver and Audrey Chun; and two grandchildren. Private services.
