Age 96, of Honolulu, HI, passed away April 27, 2011 in Honolulu, HI. Born September 2, 1914 in Piihonua, Island of Hawaii. She was a retired dietician aide with the Tripler Army Medical Center; Preceeded in death by husband Leonard and sons Ronald and Gary.

She is survived by grandchildren, Lauray Gouveia, Ronny (Jan) Gouveia Jr., Gary (Desiree) Gouveia Jr.; daughters-in-law, Carol Gouveia, Cindy Gouveia; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation 9:00 a.m. Tuesday (May 31) at St. Patrick Church (1124 7th Avenue, Honolulu) Mass 11:00 a.m. Burial 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.

YNEZ PATTIANI GRAHAM

Born in Oakland, CA on October 31, 1917 passed away peacefully at Regents Point in Irvine, CA on May 16, 2011

Ynez was the daughter of the late William L. Pattiani and Evelyn Craig Pattiani. Her mother wrote the book “Queen of the Hills,” a popular history of the City of Piedmont. She attended the University of California where, she met Donald Houston Graham, Jr. They were married in 1940 and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he became a prominent real estate developer and she became active in the Junior League and Kappa Alpha Theta.

She is survived by her children, Pattiann Earl Graham Smith of Chicago and Donald (Mac) Houston Graham, III of Los Angeles, grandchildren, Marce Olson, Kristin Panehal, Sharon Netherton, Donald Houston Graham, IV, and Chaffee B, Graham, one great-grand daughter, niece, Sally Brant and her children, Robert H. Brant and Susan Brant.
