73Edith Hatsue Abe, 88, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs chief administrative officer, died. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Kenneth K.; sons Melvin K., Brent H., Mitchell K. and Vernon E.; brother David M. Takeuchi; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Kaimuki Christian Church. Services: 10 a.m. Aloha attire.
