EDMUND ETIMANI “EDDIE” “AKAFERU” “HUNKIN” FAO

Age 83, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away December 7, 2011 in Mililani. Born March 14, 1928 in Vailoatai Tutuila, American Samoa. Edmund was employed by Sandwich Isle Communications and retired from Holsum/Orowheat. He was a ILWU Union Rep.

He is survived by sons, Rodney E. (Marta) Fao of TX, Ernie S. (Cynthia) Fao, Paul H. Fao, Dean “Dino” M. (Ember) Fao; daughters, Rejane A. (Stanley) Hoohuli, Regina M. (Wendell) Sabarre; brothers, Henry (Gloria) Santiago, Bill Lamond, Nehemiah G. Hunkin; sisters, Mildred “Millie” Plunkett of CA, Frances (David) Entriken of OR, Grace Mary Niihau Jacinto, Winona (Harry)
Marinus, Evelina Vaavale of American Samoa, Rulene Lamond, Sandra Lamond; 18 grandchildren 26; great-grandchildren; hanai mom, Violet Santiago; companion, Jeanette Robello; ex-wife, Betty Jane Tomita
