Edmund Etimani Fao, also known as "Eddie," "Akaferu" and "Hunkin," 83, of Mililani, a Sandwich Isle Communications employee and Holsum/Oroweat retiree, died in Mililani. He was born in Vailoatai Tutuila, American Samoa. He is survived by sons Rodney E., Ernie S., Paul H. and Dean M. "Dino"; daughters Rejane A. Hoohuli and Regina M. Sabarre; hanai mother Violet Santiago; brothers Henry Santiago, Bill Lamond and Nehemiah G. Hunkin; sisters Mildred "Millie" Plunkett, Frances Entriken, Grace M.N. Jacinto, Winona Marinus, Evelina Vaavale, and Rulene and Sandra Lamond; companion Jeanette Robello; former wife Betty Jane Tomita; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11:45 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Flowers welcome.
