Kahu Harold Herbert Puuloa Teves, age 80, of Oceanview, was called home by the Lord December 4, 2011. Born July 14, 1931 to Manuel Tavares Teves and Lily Kahanaiki (Bungo) Teves, he was predeceased in death by his wife, Leinaala Dolores Teves. He is survived by sons David, Ehukai, Puuloa (Martha), and Kamalei (Leeann), eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Blanche Quintal, niece Lisa Quintal, several nephews and numerous cousins.

A Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, he was a medic and member of the Green Beret, founder and Kahu of the Kahuku Congregational Church, and a Police Chaplain for the Hawaii Police Department.

Service: January 28th at Puka’ana Congregational Church, Kealia, Hawaii. Visitation at 9am. Service at 10am. Inurnment: January 30th at West-Hawaii Veteran’s Cemetery at 9am.
