MAMIE PABLIN SABIHON
MAMIE PABLIN SABIHON Mamie Pablin Sabihon passed away on January 16, 2012 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California at the age of 91. She was born on April 15, 1920 in Oahu, Hawaii in area near Schofield Barracks what was then called Leilehua Village. Raised in Brodie II, a Hawaiian Pineapple Camp, Mamie was a long time resident of Wahiawa. Her family relocated to Southern California in July 1967. Mamie graduated from Leilehua High School, Class of 1938, was an avid bowler and retired from J.C. Penny's Corporation in 1986. Widow of the late Stanley Sabihon, she is survived by her four daughters Winona (Cliff) Lane (4 children and 13 grandchildren), Gylene (Rod) Ornellas (2 children and 1 grandchild), Alison (Mickey) Shimabukuro (2 children and 1 grandchild), Christine Sabihon (2 children), one son Darrell (Ellen) Sabihon (2 children and 4 grandchildren), and brother Cyril Pablin who now resides in the Philippine Islands.
