82Daniel "Dan" DeLuz Sr., 77, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, proprietor of Dan DeLuz's Woods, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Mary Lou; son Dan; daughter Renee Godoy; stepsons Ronald Williams, William Brown and James Grimes; stepdaughter Leilani Marriott; brothers Antone, Roger and Milton; sisters Helen Figuera, Margaret Mattos, Mildred Kelly, Bernadette Ferreira and Geraldine Tavares; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: 7 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
