ILOILO TA’ATIATIA PASI SUAAVA

Age 85, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away January 10, 2012 in Nanakuli. Born March 6, 1926 in Aua, American Samoa. Iloilo retired from Ralph S. Inouye Construction Inc. He was a member of the First Samoan Congregational Christian Church of Hakimo.

He is survived by wife, Ruta Suaava; sons, Never “Mase” (Lipua) Suaava, Iloilo Suaava, Jr. of Samoa, Pasi (Leslie) Suaava, West (Stan) Suaava, Isaac (Faye) Suaava of GA, Stanley Suaava of MA, Donald (Renee) Suaava of AZ; daughters, Mele (Lafoga) Alovao, Tua (Fiso) Tokio; sisters, Aolele Luafulu, Lotomau (Levi) Esene, Lufilufi Satele, Iliili (Tiaseu) Satele, Vaiga Fiu; 39 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; hanai children, Malo & Lei Auelua, Albert & Anna Gaea, Alice Meredith.

Visitation 10:00 a.m. Saturday (February 4) at First Samoan Congregational Christian Church of Hakimo (87-168 Hakimo Rd., Waianae). Burial 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
