73Helen Amion Viernes, 78, of Haleiwa died at home. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Nate “Binky” and Paxton “Packy”; daughters Helene Rosado, Althea “Sissy” Johnson, Andrea and Yvette Viernes, and Nadine “Nanka” Walker; brothers Pete and Larry Galban, and Mel, Jimmy and Albert Amion; sister Sulidad Amion Meria; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Waialua United Church of Christ, 67-174 Farrington Highway. Services 4 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
