81Daniel K. "Ming" Sniffen, 69, of Wailuku, a retired welder and member of the Iron Workers Union, died at home. He was born in Waihee, Maui. He is survived by companion Cheryl Howanic, sons Todd and Ikaika D., daughter Terri "Te'a" Sniffen-Keaweehu, sister Gladys "Tita" Christopherson and three grandchildren.
