Age 75, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away January 10, 2012 in Aiea. Born April 9, 1936 in Spreckelsville, Maui. He was employed at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 56 (Pipefitters), retired as a general foreman after 34 years of service. A U.S. Army Veteran, and member of Pearl Harbor Weapons Golf Club.
He is survived by wife, Elsie T. Palafox; daughter, Melamarie Minei, Palafox (Elbert) Hill; son, Matthew Kikila (Karen) Palafox; 5 grandchildren; brother, Benjamin Palafox; sisters, Josephine Pokipala, Rita Palafox.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 11) at St. Anthony Church (1627 Mill St., Wailuku, Maui); Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. Visitation also 9:00 a.m. Monday (Feb. 13) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel (Waipio, Oahu); Memorial Service 10:30 a.m. Ashes to be scattered at a later date. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
