73Benjamin Thomas Solywoda, 96, of Hilo, a retired tool and die maker, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Haydenville, Mass. He is survived by wife Alice; sons Thomas, Andrew, Barry and Philip; daughters Lucille Horak, Donna Rodriguez and Lois McGuire; brother Walter Soliwoda; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services to be announced and held at a later date. No flowers. Donations suggested to Hilo Medical Center Foundation, 1190 Waianuenue Ave., Hilo, HI 96720.
