Alexander Faisca, 88, of Kapaau, Hawaii, an Army veteran who served with the 298th Infantry and a retired C&K Kohala Sugar Plantation vehicle service technician, died in Kohala Hospital. He was born in Halawa. He is survived by son Edward; daughters Bernadette Montero, Marietta Cadiente and Virginia DeSilva; brothers Joseph and Samuel; sister Sister Ruth; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Hawi, Hawaii. Mass: 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Halawa Catholic Cemetery. Aloha attire.
