80Earl Eugene "Curly" McFarland, 73, of Kahului, a Maui County Parks and Recreation park caretaker, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Frostburg, Md. He is survived by wife Myrna, daughters Malia Pedro and Maile McFarland, mother Lillian, sisters Becky Bohrer and Sandy Whitacre, and four grandchildren.
