Surrounded by her family, Dorothy Nixon, 78, died peacefully at her home in Brookings, OR, on January 23, 2012.
Born March 30, 1933, at Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, Dorothy attended Punahou School.
Dorothy married David R. Nixon in Kaimuki on December 18, 1954. They moved to Belmont, CA, and retired to Brookings in 1993.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Terri Nixon Peck, Tracie Mattei, Tami Nixon and son Timothy Nixon, 11 grandchildren, sister Jean Ann (Huey) Furbush and cousin Mike Durant.
A memorial service is planned for 4:00pm on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Brookings.

Lawrence “Larry” Wong, 84 of Waipahu, passed quietly on February 3,2012 at Maunalani Nursing Home. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 15,1927.

Larry a retired manager of Universal Motors Parts Dept and an Army veteran. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed trolling on his boat with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (2001).

He is survived by daughter Theresa Hara, son Leroy Wong and considered Barrett Hara as his son, brother Clifford Wong, granddaughters Jennifer Hara and Janelle Cuajunco, great granddaughter Nanea Cuajunco.
