Motoyoshi “Moto” Tanaka, 93, of Hilo, a retiree from The Gas Co. and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 100th Infantry Battalion, Company D, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Shizue, son Wayne, daughters Patricia Matsuo and Merle Unoki, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Hilo Meishoin, 97 Olona St. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
