FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

ROBERT EDWIN CURTIS
ROBERT EDWIN CURTIS February 10th, 2012 Captain Robert "Bull" Curtis, 69, of Honolulu, career naval officer and Merrill Lynch financial advisor, died at Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and served 28 years in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator flying the A-4 Skyhawk, A-7 Corsair II and F-8 Crusader. Serving numerous tours in Vietnam he would earn the Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross. Commands held included VC-1 at Barbers Point and the Barking Sands Pacific Missile Range Facility. He was predeceased by wife Judith Ann, son John Martin and daughter Catherine Ann. He is survived by wife, Shirley; son, Mike and sister, Martha. Services 2pm, Friday, February 17th at First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu. Flowers welcome.
