73Masako Hiyane, 99, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaii Hochi typesetter, died in Palolo Chinese Home. She was born in Waiakoa, Maui. She is survived by son James T.; daughters Jane S. Toma and Ethel N. Ashitomi; brothers Carl S. Asato and Roy Y. Oshiro; sisters Mildred S. Kim, Ruth Y. Uyechi, Lily F. Watts, Bette C. Wong and Mabel A. Scales; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.
