70Robert Raymond "Haole Boy" Bean, 65, of Kailua-Kona, a charter boat business owner and captain, died at home. He was born in Oakland, Calif. He is survived by wife Mellaney; sons Momi and Kaumaka Bean and Talbert Payton; daughters Rolinda and Imaikalani Bean; brothers James Bean and Zachary, Jerome and Joe Kanuha, Alapai and Kumohone Ke, and Spooks Fronda; sisters Rosemary Kanuha, Monics Pelekane, Pocho Youderian, Caroline Smith, Louella Branco and Jolene Carvalho; and eight grandchildren.
