74Louis James DeRego Sr., 95, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. supervisor and C. Brewer Sugar Co. employee, died in Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. He was born in Haina, Hawaii. He is survived by son Louis "Red" Jr., daughter Wendylee Pomeroy, brothers Alec and Amos Botelho, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Honokaa. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire.
