72Lan Hiang Char, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Southeast Asian specialist and librarian at Hamilton Library, University of Hawaii, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is survived by husband Benjamin P.S., daughter Leonora, brother Swie In Tan and sisters Lily Lie and Nieke Gondokusomo. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 10:30 am. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
