72Bartolome V. Viernes, 90, of Puhi, Kauai, a retired sugar industry plant operator, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Carlina, sons Danilo and Arnel, daughters Marylou Titus and Evelyn Sarte, sister Visita Turqueza, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. March 24 at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
