77John "Balaki" Valasquez, 78, of Ewa Beach, a retiree from Ewa Beach Public Library and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 72, died in Aiea. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Rose Marie; daughters Jozie, Annette and Christina; brothers Frank Gonzales and Arthur Fernandez; sister Cecilia Estoesta; and three grandchildren.
