79Hideko "Helen" Sugawa, 88, of Pearl City, a retired state Department of Education baker and retired Kaewai Elementary School custodian, died. She was born in Waiakea-Hilo. She is survived by daughters Joann N. Minshall, Aileen C. Sugawa and Cynthia E. Oshiro; sisters Hanako Tanabe and Sachiko Nakagawa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
