75Zacarias Defiesta Bermudez, 87, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired utility worker for the former Puna Sugar Co., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Carlina; sons Conrado, Amadeo, Romualdo, Pablito and Jay; daughters Florecita Alonzo, Rosalinda Cabalo, Yolanda Acorda, Mary Jane Bowden and Junelle Bumagat; sisters Tomasa Nervez and Iluminada Banez; 24 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation:6 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary in Hilo. Services:7 p.m. Additional services:9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Mass:10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua Section. Casual attire.
