Ted Adams Ross, 88, of Hilo, a retired Pacific Telephone central communications operator and a veteran of the Coast Guard and Navy during World War II, died at home. He was born in Point Richmond, Calif. He is survived by wife Lorrayne, sons Terrance A. and Dennis A., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Glad Tidings Church. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
