Charles Henry Ferreira Sr., 87, of Makawao, Maui, a retired Maui County landfill operator, employee at Maui Land & Pineapple Co. in Haliimaile and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died. He was born in Hamapoko, Maui. He is survived by wife Mary E., son Charles Jr., daughters Helen Souza and Eva Balagso, brother Arthur, sister Natalie Cordeiro and three grandchildren.
