Van Ray Floyd, 81, of Hauula, an Army veteran and a retired civilian employee with the federal government, died at home. He was born in Orange, Texas. He is survived by wife Lorayne; son Sean; daughters Melanie Leatham Scott, Gayla Floyd Amosa and R. Cherie Floyd; 33 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hauula fourth ward, makai chapel. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
