Kwai Dick Chun, 92, passed away peacefully at his home in Honolulu. He was born to the late Chun Quon Yee Hop and Lai Shee Chun on June 14, 1919, in Honolulu. He was CEO of C.Q. Yee Hop & Co., Yee Hop Realty Ltd., American Brewing Co. Ltd., Yee Hop Ltd., Hawaiian Hardwood Co. Ltd., United Meat Co., and Commercial Enterprises Ltd.
He is survived by wife Evelyn Lee Chun; sons Reginald Robert (Shelley), Dennis, Randall (Linda), Steven Michael (Judith); daughter Celia (Russell); grandchildren Terrence, Kimberlee (Michael) Bassford, Joey Bortfeld, Alexander, Amanda, Laura, Amber, Nicholas Chun; and great-grandchild Jonathan Bassford: Sisters Patsy Chun, Anita Luke, Vera (Wilfred) Lum, Betty Yuen and Doris Fong.
Graveside services to be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park (Kaneohe) 11 AM Sunday, April 1, 2012.
