James Alton Engle, 78, of Honolulu, a National Weather Service meteorologist and Air Force veteran, died. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He is survived by wife Kiku S., daughters Sheri Fukushima and Kimberli Hayashi, brother Harold and four grandchildren. Visitation:10 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services:11 a.m. Inurnment:10:30 a.m. April 12 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
