Donald Wun Fa Ching passed peacefully at his home in Ainakoa on March 20, 2012 at the age of 85. During World War II, Donald served his country as a member of the US Air Force. Upon returning to civilian life, he joined Hawaiian Airlines and retired as an Aircraft Inspector with Quality Control in 1987.
He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother, and was always there to help and support his family. He is survived by loving wife, Rebecca (Becky), two daughters, Donna Ching (Richard Leman), and Pamela Ching (Bruce Tierney), brother, Cedric (Baptistine), and sister, Adrienne (Koon Yoy).
There will be a celebration of his life at Diamond Head Memorial Park Chapel on Monday, April 9, 2012. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Services: 5:30 p.m. Aloha attire. Private burial.
